Further Information:
PVT 231L was new to Potteries Motor Traction Company Ltd, a subsidiary of the National Bus Company (NBC), in December 1972, receiving fleet number 231. At some point during 1986 or 1987 it was sold to West Riding, who re-registered the bus 544 WRA. Before disposing of the bus West Riding re-registered it to FWW 215L, transferring its cherished registration to a Leyland Olympian. The bus was then acquired by Kirklees Metropolitan Borough Council in May 1990 who used it as a Hospitality unit.
It was subsequently sold to Ideas in Motion Ltd of Curragha, Eire, who's Managing Director is LNG member Ed O'Neill, Clontarf, where it is used as a Mobile Exhibition unit. The bus has now been re-registered to ZV 8016.
